Networking on Linux
ip, nftables, VLANs, and bonding — configuring and defending a real network stack on a real Linux machine, hands-on.
What you'll actually learn
Most networking courses stay theoretical; this one puts you directly on a Linux box with ip, nftables, VLANs, and bonding, configuring and defending a network stack that has to actually work afterward. You'll build the interfaces and rules yourself instead of reading about what they do, which is the only way nftables syntax or a bonding mode actually sticks.
What you'll be able to do
You'll take a Linux machine with a broken or overly permissive network configuration — a missing VLAN tag, a bonding interface stuck in the wrong mode, an nftables ruleset that's silently too loose — and correct it directly from the command line, with no GUI to fall back on. That's the exact, hands-on competence that separates "knows Linux networking exists" from "can be handed a production Linux box's network config."
