Kernel Internals
What is actually happening below the shell you have been living in.
What you'll actually learn
Every command you run in a shell eventually crosses into kernel space, and this track is about what actually happens the moment it does — how a system call hands control from your process to the kernel, how the scheduler decides which process gets the CPU next, how memory gets mapped and protected between processes that have no idea the others exist. It's the layer underneath the shell you've been living in, made visible instead of assumed.
What you'll be able to do
You'll trace a real system call from the moment a process makes it to the moment control returns, and be able to explain — not guess — why one process can't read another's memory, or what actually happens during a context switch. That's the difference between using an operating system and understanding the one you're actually running on top of.
