SQL in Practice
The language every relational database speaks — reading, filtering, joining, and changing data with precision.
What you'll actually learn
SQL looks simple until a query needs to combine data from three tables and only one of the possible joins gives the right answer. This track builds up from reading and filtering data to the part that actually trips people up — joins, aggregation, and writing a query that returns exactly the rows you meant, not a silently wrong result that happens to run without an error.
What you'll be able to do
Handed a database you've never seen before, you'll be able to figure out its structure and write a query that answers a real question about the data — not by copying a pattern you memorized, but by reasoning about which tables actually need to be joined and on what. That's the actual skill being tested every time a job asks for "SQL proficiency."
