PowerShell
The object pipeline, cmdlets, and real scripting on Windows.
What you'll actually learn
PowerShell looks like a shell but behaves completely differently underneath: every command passes real, structured objects to the next one instead of raw text, which is exactly the part that trips up people arriving from Bash. This track builds fluency with that object pipeline and real cmdlets directly, so Get-Process | Where-Object stops being a magic incantation and becomes something you understand well enough to write yourself.
What you'll be able to do
You'll write a real automation script that filters, transforms, and acts on live Windows system data — processes, services, files — using the object pipeline properly instead of parsing text output the way you might in another shell. That's the specific skill that makes someone genuinely productive in a Windows admin or DevOps role, not just able to run pre-written scripts.
