Docker
Images, containers, and networking your services without fighting the daemon.
What you'll actually learn
Docker looks simple until your container can't reach another one, or an image rebuilds from scratch when you only changed one line. This track goes past docker run into how layers actually cache (and why ordering your Dockerfile wrong wastes ten minutes on every build), and how container networking really connects services — the part that turns "it works on my machine" into "it works in the container, full stop."
What you'll be able to do
You'll write a Dockerfile that builds fast because the layer caching actually works in your favor, wire multiple containers together so they can talk to each other by name instead of guessing at IPs, and — when a container can't reach a database it's supposed to reach — know exactly which layer of the networking to check first instead of restarting things at random.
