This track is about that moment — turning a manual routine into a script with real logic, loops that handle a list of unknown size, conditions that check whether something actually succeeded before moving on, and error handling that fails loudly instead of silently continuing after something broke.

What you'll be able to do

You'll take a task you're currently doing by hand — checking a list of servers, cleaning up old files, restarting a service under specific conditions — and turn it into a script that does it correctly even when the input isn't exactly what you expected, which is the actual difference between a script that works in the demo and one you can trust unattended.
